Agriturismo Il Corniolo

My boyfriend and I spent two months here last fall, in 2024. We stayed in the «girasole» apartment, separate from the main building, and really enjoyed it. It was quiet and a perfect setup for both of us to work remotely. We loved wandering around the grounds too. They’re beautifully maintained, with flowers, herbs, and lots of fruit. The owner was always helpful and made the best homemade bread every week. Thanks again, Franca!

It was such a treat to stay close to Perugia, just a local bus ride away, while getting to enjoy the feel and taste of the countryside. The surroundings were beautiful, the accommodation comfortable, and the food fabulous. It was a peaceful, nourishing place, with amazing staff who responded to everything we needed.

I’d booked five nights, but the place felt like heaven as soon as I arrived, so I added another night and was so glad I did. It’s quiet, and the meals were delicious and healthy, made fresh from the farm. This is a real family farm, and they take loving care of you. I’d definitely return.

I wish I could review the place itself, which I’m sure we would have loved, but we never got the chance to stay. We were talking with the owner about the next steps to confirm the booking when, out of nowhere, she said there might be another booking for a longer stay. We waited a few days, then she told us it was booked. I understand a longer stay may be more beneficial, but she was the one who told us there had been a cancellation, and we said we wanted to book right away. It wasn’t a great way to treat customers. It’s a shame. We wanted to consider this place for future visits by our family and friends too, since we’re moving to the area and thought it would be perfect for hosting them. I don’t think we’ll consider it anymore.
