We were warmly welcomed by the owner and host at Borgomeo, who were friendly and stopped by to chat on most days. They also invited us to a cooking workshop at the villa, then made dinner that evening for everyone using food from the workshop. That hospitality added a lot to our stay. Borgomeo is in Solomeo, in the municipality of Corciano, about a 20-minute drive from Perugia. The site has several small houses, each with room for around four people. Ours had a kitchen with the necessary appliances, a living room with TV and air conditioning, two bedrooms, one with two beds and one with a bunk bed, and a bathroom. We also had WiFi. The swimming pool was lovely, and the terrace had a wonderful view over the countryside. Staying here is a great way to explore Umbria. S. Bonte The Netherlands

Peaceful, clean, and pleasant, with a beautiful view and a lovely big pool. It feels like the countryside while still being close enough to the city.

Borgomeo Holiday House is a typical Umbrian property with self-catering apartments and an outdoor pool. It's 14 km from the shores of Lake Trasimeno.

Borgomeo Holiday House can be a little tricky to find, but the holiday homes are excellent and very clean. They come equipped with a microwave, an oven, and a gas stove.
