The room was fresh and very clean, and we had a lovely stay overall. We were offered wine as an aperitivo and breakfast was great. Noise was the downside: our window faced the restaurant entrance, so we could hear people there all evening. Music started in the restaurant at 8:15 in the morning, and at midnight the staff raced down the street beside our room after their shift, waking us up. Those last two things could be addressed by the staff. Apart from that, it was a lovely experience.

We loved our four-night stay at this Masseria, and ate in the restaurant every evening. We nearly worked our way through the whole menu, and every dish was delicious. The little apartment had all we needed, including a really comfortable bed, a cute terrace for sitting outside, and atmospheric lighting. Breakfast was very good, with coffee to get the day started. Thanks to the owners for making us feel so welcome. This was our favourite stay in Puglia.

The dishes were delicious and nicely priced, and the service was great. We had a lovely dinner with friends, and the food put an inventive spin on authentic Italian cooking. I’d happily go back.

We’re a family of two adults and one child who share every dish, and this was our fifth trip to Puglia after trying plenty of places around the world. The setting was a real highlight: a secluded, cozy old stone house with a family feel, 11/10. The staff were friendly and attentive, 10/10, and the grilled squid was fantastic, also 10/10. Paccheri with seafood got 8/10. Ciceri e tria was an odd mix of ingredients without much of an overall flavor, so 5/10. The panna cotta and tiramisu were just average, 4/10, especially for the price compared with desserts elsewhere. I’m a big tiramisu fan and have tried it in dozens of places. I had to ask for coffee to pour over it so I could finish it. The coffee itself was very good, and the server kindly offered it on the house.
