Agriturismo Fellino

Breakfast was poor, with bare tables and no tablecloths or placemats, and guests were expected to clear their own dishes. We were also told the pool required swimming caps, something nobody had mentioned ahead of time. The facility looked nice, though it had some annoying issues: the front door was hard to open and the bathroom door wouldn’t stay shut. It didn’t feel very welcoming. The owner even asked my children to wait half an hour before using the pool because he needed it. I was speechless.

Vincenzo was kind and attentive to what we needed, while staying nicely discreet. Agriturismo Fellino is a great spot for a vacation, with a traditional feel and the town center nearby. Highly recommended for anyone who wants both nature and easy access to town. :)

Vincenzo was friendly, happy to chat, and ready with suggestions about places to see in his city. The whole property felt pleasant and welcoming, and we had a quiet, restorative stay. Our apartment was on the ground floor of the first of two large buildings, among olive groves on the western edge of Rossano Station. It was spacious, recently renovated, and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and a separate indoor dining area. We also had a big terrace where it was lovely to eat in the evening once the afternoon heat had passed. The buildings surround a large pool, a welcome feature in Calabria’s scorching weather. The second building used to be an olive oil mill; it has another apartment and is used for breakfast when it isn’t served on the terrace. The property is close to local shops, 2 km from the beach, and 5 km from Rossano historic center.

A lovely, well-kept place, and the owner is both helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!
