Agriturismo Frangivento

We felt so well looked after today by Giorgio and his wife. They were incredibly kind and did their best to meet every request. The food and wine were both excellent, and the olive grove makes this a lovely place to get away from the bustle.

We had a great stay and would come back if we’re in the area again. Everything was clean and well run, and there’s even a restaurant on site, though you need to reserve. It’s set among olive trees, close to the beaches but tucked away from the city noise. The staff were friendly and helpful without hovering, which made it a nice place to unwind after a year of work.

The place is small but really charming, and you can tell it’s newly built. The food was good, and so was the service. It’s in Cantinella, in the Corigliano urban area of Corigliano-Rossano, and it’s hard to find without GPS. Since I was a guest, I can’t say what it costs. I’ll come back and give a more detailed review.

We went out to see the stars again, and that was a lovely way to kick off the Christmas holidays. We treated ourselves to lunch with good friends, in a great setting, with good wine and friendly service. Most of all, the lunch itself was excellent. Nothing more to add. Thanks, Agata and her husband!
