The price was another plus, and we’ll definitely come back. We stayed here recently and I highly recommend it. It was clean and comfortable, everyone was friendly, and there was even air conditioning in the bathroom. A real gem!

The beach is just steps away, with restaurants and shops close by, and there are great pastry shops within 100 meters since breakfast isn’t provided. The place is clean, the bed was comfortable, and the linens and towels were fresh. Parking is in the courtyard below, and there’s an elevator. The owners and staff were welcoming and friendly. Thanks for the hospitality, and I hope to visit Calabria and see you again. Great value for money, highly recommended!

We stayed at Ape B&B during Vinitaly in Sibari so I could enjoy the evening without driving again. I found it on Google Maps and called to ask about parking, the price, and check-in. The woman I spoke to was kind and explained that a deposit was needed to confirm. After the call, I heard nothing, so I called again for the bank details and paid. The room was spacious and clean, the air conditioning worked, and the young man who checked us in was friendly. But when I asked about breakfast, he said it wasn’t available because of renovations. No one had told me. I called the booking number, and a man, presumably the owner, confirmed it. He apologized, but offered no alternative, discount, or other compensation. I think when something included in a stay is unavailable and the guest hasn’t been told in time, there should be some response. I paid the agreed amount, but they didn’t even give me a receipt. I’m from Calabria and hate to say it, but oversights like this hurt the image of local hospitality. More transparency and professionalism would help.

The rooms are big and modern, and the B&B itself is nice. The mattress was too soft for us, though, and we struggled to fall asleep. After we checked in with one of the owner’s staff, we weren’t given a receipt. A few hours later, Booking sent me a notice saying the B&B had cancelled my reservation, even though we were already asleep there. I couldn’t understand the late-night cancellation, and the owner didn’t respond when I asked why.
