Karina s Rooms

The rooms were comfortable and really clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Karina was easy to reach throughout our stay. This was our favorite B&B during our three days in Taranto. I’ll definitely be back soon! 🤩

I stayed on my own at Karina's Room B&B and had a great time. Karina was warm and helpful, and the room was lovely, with a fairly comfortable double bed and a modern bathroom. The cleaning was excellent. It’s on the ground floor of a quiet building, in a peaceful area with useful shops close by: a bakery downstairs and a supermarket a few minutes away on foot. I’d happily recommend a stay here.

Agnola was so courteous and helpful, and I’ll gladly come back to her place next time I’m in Taranto. Karina's Room is clean, tidy, and lovely, with its own bathroom. The neighborhood has plenty of services nearby. I highly recommend it.

When I arrived for what I thought was my June 20, 2025 stay, I discovered the booking had been made for July 20 instead, probably because of an error on the booking platform. The room was already occupied. The owner confirmed the July date and said she’d cancel if another request came in for that day. I know the original mistake was mine, but I expected more understanding and flexibility. A month later, despite my having reported the issue right away, I received the check-in email. I raised the problem again and was told they had tried everything without success. The property knew about the mix-up from the start, yet it seemed content to take payment without providing a stay. I also find it odd that no other bookings came in for that date during a busy period for the city, with swearing-off and tourism. If the room stays booked, who would try to reserve it? The response felt unavailable and not customer-focused. It’s a shame, because a more empathetic approach would have made a difference. I won’t return or recommend the place.
