B&B Altamarea

We stayed for a week and had a great time. The sea is very close, and there’s parking near the property. Our room was cleaned thoroughly every day, and we could get fresh towels daily too. Breakfast was delicious.

The staff were friendly, and the rooms were clean, simple, and comfortable. The spot is great, right by the sea and close to the center, but summer nights were rough. Bars nearby played loud music until 5 a.m., so sleeping was difficult. Breakfast was decent but limited to croissants and packaged snacks, with no fruit or savory options. There are only two tables for all the rooms, which isn’t enough. You can eat in your room, but carrying a tray upstairs is awkward if you’re on an upper floor. For the service, especially with those sleepless nights, the price feels too high.

If I ever come back to Schiavonea, I’d stay at the B&B Altamarea again. We spent a week there and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, with a TV, air conditioning, and nice furnishings. There were three of us, and they even had a fourth bed available. Pets are welcome, no problem. You’re practically on the seafront, with the water only about 30 meters away. Bars, restaurants, and a tobacconist are right below, and the square is a pleasant 4-5 minute walk. The hospitality was excellent. They promptly took care of every little request, and friendliness really is their strong point. We often had a lovely chat over a delicious Italian breakfast with all kinds of croissants and brioches, plus packaged pastries. A sure thing.

The owners were so kind, and the sea view was breathtaking. Below the property there’s a bar and an ice cream shop that stays open late and makes delicious ice cream. My girlfriend and I stayed three nights and had a wonderful time. We came back to our room one evening to find towels shaped like swans with hearts, which was priceless. Staff, location, cleanliness, room, everything was a 10. Thanks, we’ll see you next year.
