Hotel Gallo D'Oro

This could be a lovely green part of Corigliano Scalo if it were redeveloped. It's a non-central area with tall trees, though pruning has left them ravaged. I remember wonderful times here since I moved in 1982. The beauty is still clear in the maritime pine, which majestically shades the little concrete field, recently redeveloped by private individuals, and in the small chapel holding the image of the Madonna. It's hard to get politicians and municipal workers to tackle the city's cleanup, from potholes, sinkholes, sewers, and ghost manholes. In some areas, even the garbage collectors don't come by.

This is my home in Italy. La Casa mia.

The rooms are awful and very outdated, and the staff are really awful and unprofessional.

Rooms that are comfortable and functional.
