Hotel Scigliano

Had a nice time.

The bathroom had recently been redone, and the shower was great, with an overhead head and a handheld one. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and pets can stay without an extra charge, which was a nice plus. Our room was roomy, maybe a quadruple given the bunk beds, with standard furniture and TV, though I missed having a place to set luggage. The hotel seems to sit on the city's main street, judging by the steady traffic. There's private parking, but we didn't need it during our stay. The air conditioning was quite noisy, and mosquito screens would be useful. I can't really describe the breakfast. The cappuccino in an 8-liter mug with no saucer was the funniest part. Thanks to everyone.

We spent six nights here, and the staff did a lot to make us feel at home. They were attentive, kind, and quick to handle our requests. Our room was spacious and clean, with a TV, air conditioning, and a safe. The bathroom was tidy too, with towels, shower gel, a hairdryer, and the other basics. Parking is free either outside the hotel or in its courtyard, and the included breakfast is Italian style. The location is handy for supermarkets, bars, and shops, and the Calabrian sea is only a five-minute drive away, with free parking along the seafront. Rossano is lovely to explore, and the waterfront promenade has a great bike path for a relaxed, enjoyable ride. I'd recommend the hotel and hope we can come back. Thanks again to the staff.
