Mario and Lea were such welcoming hosts, along with their daughters. The place is peaceful, with sunny and shady spots to choose from, and a lovely pool for cooling off. Breakfast was lovely too, with great coffee and cakes. Mario was super helpful with ideas for places to eat and visit. We arrived as strangers and left as friends, after a wonderful week. Next time, we'll book one of Lea's cooking lessons!

We were a family of four from the UK and stayed for 11 nights at La Piana degli Ulivi. My Italian chef friend, who is from Rossano, recommended this Agriturismo, and it was just right for us. Mario and Lea speak very good English and were generous with their time. Their personal knowledge, recommendations for places to visit, and help booking restaurants made the holiday memorable. The two rooms were clean, comfortable, and well equipped. It was extremely hot while we were there, but the rooms stayed cool in the daytime, and the air conditioning helped us sleep comfortably at night. Each room has a small kitchen area at the front, with a fridge and cooker, plus an outdoor table. We made simple meals there on a couple of nights. Breakfast was simple but lovely, with homemade cakes, pastries, and fresh fruit. We spent a relaxing time around the spacious pool and grounds, which felt like having a private villa.

We loved being at La Piana degli Ulivi and really didn’t want to leave. It’s a family-run place with everything you need, and the facilities were great. Lea and Mario made our stay amazing, and we already miss Calabria. Rossano’s old town is worth visiting, with plenty of places to eat. The beach was lovely too, with lots of lidos, nice bars, and good restaurants. We’d happily send friends and family here.

The owners make you feel right at home and are so welcoming. It’s a lovely spot to unwind in the quiet of nature. I’d always recommend a visit to "La Piana".
