Longomare Residence Vacanze

The parking was a particular problem: it costs extra, yet the area is open and unguarded, so I was paying to leave my car somewhere that didn’t feel safe. Breakfast was another disappointment. Although the lack of breakfast was explained before booking, there was still no sign of it at 9:00 a.m., despite this being a bed and breakfast. The owner seemed helpful at first, but I found otherwise when checking out. The property also looks different from the photos, with neglected areas, little care for details, and little consideration for guest comfort. I strongly advise against staying here. There are much more professional, serious, and customer-friendly places nearby.

I’m disappointed, and I won’t be returning. Schiavonea is lovely, but this residence felt overpriced. I found seafront apartments around Schiavonea for much less than what I paid. I stayed here three years ago and had a much better experience than this year. The shower was awkward to use and the water never came out. On the ground floor, animals kept getting into my apartment because there were no screens. A bush right outside the kitchen window also blocked the airflow. The sofa bed was completely broken, and the bed was barely more than a table. Sorry, but that’s the truth.

We spent our evenings unwinding on the balcony, and having a fridge for small things was handy. The room was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning made it easy to sleep. The sea is only about a five-minute walk away, with the beach right there. We’d happily come back.

The rooms were really clean and the staff so friendly, and we still had a great stay. I couldn’t give it five stars, though: the shower was too small and uncomfortable. My partner and I only got breakfast once because there was never anyone around to ask for the breakfast room key.
