Really nice for kids.

The beach and shuttle service are positives, and Paolo, the lifeguard, is a gentleman, very professional, polite and always friendly. The accommodation is the problem: it's dilapidated and feels like it's from the 1970s or 1980s. The mattresses seem to have broken springs. There's no bathroom cabinet, shelf or hairdryer, despite the place being listed as four stars, maybe even designed for more. The kitchen has no hood and the lighting is poor. In some spots we had to use our phone flashlight to cook.

After a six-hour trip, our group arrived by bus from Catania for a weekend that wasn't even fully booked. The entertainment staff were very friendly and greeted us with a fruity soft drink, a remote control kit and the key to our "little house." We found a badly neglected caravan, with no bidet or soap and questionable towels. Tired and disappointed, we went to the beach by shuttle, whose driver was very kind. The sea was gorgeous, and the lifeguards welcoming. The village itself was large, green, fairly tidy, and had plenty of amenities and friendly staff. Dinner was more like canteen food, and even for a canteen I thought it was too much. Breakfast was okay. It made me wonder whether tourism means providing a good stay or just filling empty dates to bring in money. This applies to the resort and to whoever proposed and arranged the trip. Why weren't the four Catanian cats properly informed, and why wasn't what had been explained beforehand taken into account? For two days of full board, the resort could have made a good impression by putting them in the new, empty concrete cabins, instead of making an effort to serve lunches and dinners worthy of fabulous Calabrian cuisine. This isn't good publicity for the resort or for the people who proposed and managed the arrangement. For those who don't read reviews, word of mouth is the answer.
