Breakfast was a real treat, especially Maria’s homemade cakes and the jams and spreads made on the property. Carmine and his team welcomed us warmly and made sure we felt at home. My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Le Colline del Gelso. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, looking out over the orchards and olive groves. The masseria sits in peaceful countryside, while the historic little town of Rossano is only a few kilometres away. Staying here was a highlight of our trip to Calabria.

We had a lovely short break at Le Colline del Gelso. It’s a beautiful place in a relaxing setting, and worked really well as a base for exploring Calabria. We’ll be back.
