Relais il Mulino

We almost missed a lovely evening by turning down dinner. The receptionist asked if we wanted to eat at the hotel, and we confidently said no, planning to go into town. Less than an hour later, unimpressed by what we found, we sheepishly called back to ask for a table. She told us there’s always room for hotel guests at dinner. We ate by the pool, the food was incredibly delicious, and there was live music. Such a wonderful evening. Breakfast was a buffet, and we really enjoyed our stay. The photos don’t do this place justice. The pool, which we had to ourselves, was so nice, and our room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff were kind and helpful.

The gardens all around the agriturismo were lovely, and everything was so clean. The pool was beautiful and clean too. We stayed one night, and it became the highlight of our road trip. We ended up having dinner by the pool and were surprised by how delicious everything tasted. Even when things got a little chaotic because it was busy, the staff stayed very polite and professional. Breakfast the next morning was great. This is the kind of place where you could spend at least a week relaxing. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

The food was amazing, and the rooms were excellent, so the stars don’t really capture how nice this place is. Still, parts of the stay were frustrating. Dinner took 2 hours and 45 minutes, which is just crazy. The room was 31C when we went to sleep, and we couldn’t set the air conditioning to cool it while we were in the pool. Would I return? Sure, but not in the summer season.

We had the best time ever. Our good friends from back home live near the property, and family celebrations brought us back for the second time in a row. The staff go out of their way to meet your needs. I’d give it ten stars if I could! I was so sad to leave this beautiful country and the wonderful people we met.
