The room they moved us to was filthy, with stains on the sofa and walls, dead insects, and hair in the bed. It was around 30°C inside with no air conditioning, and opening the window brought in swarms of bugs. There are also animals kept in small, dirty cages, which was depressing to see. The only upside was flexible checkout, but that hardly made up for the stay. Getting the booking sorted out took four tries, several calls, and repeated promises of confirmation emails. When we arrived, a restaurant waiter handed us the keys instead of reception welcoming us. The first room reeked of smoke, including the bed linen. The waiter brushed off our complaint and told us to “take a picture.” Only after we pushed did he say a group of workers had stayed there and might have smoked. He moved us to what he called a “better” room, but it wasn’t. Our chance at a relaxing mountain stay was ruined. This place was a complete disaster. Book somewhere else.

The kids had a trampoline in the garden, and there was a third regular-sized bed for them. We stayed overnight after driving through the Sellapas (SS242). The restaurant and rooms were decent, with triple glazing on the road side and a balcony facing the mountains. There’s also a beautiful garden where you can relax.

We only stopped for lunch with our child, and it turned out to be a great choice. The food was delicious, especially the tiramisu ✨. There was plenty for children to do too, including budgies, iguanas, a chameleon, a baby kitchen, a trampoline, scooters, and lots more.

The location looked bad at first, but it turned out to be fine. You can reach lovely walking paths from the hotel without driving, and there are flowers, animals, and a lake to see. At least from our room, we heard no traffic at night. Our April room was very clean, with a spacious bathroom and separate tub and shower. The price was good, and we enjoyed the sauna, though its benches were wobbly and noisy whenever anyone moved. We had dinner there twice and really liked the pizzas. The whole staff was very friendly. One thing for guests: if staff mention the salad buffet when you order pizza or something else, check first whether it’s included. Don’t assume it is, since the salads cost more than they should. And for the hotel, please let guests know about maintenance before they book, or make another arrangement or offer some compensation if they’ve already booked. On April 23, 2022, there was nonstop drilling and hammering from 3pm to 6pm beside and directly above our room, and it made the stay much less enjoyable.
