We only stopped briefly for coffee and ice cream, arriving with our family without warning. My wife had visited as a child and still had fond memories, which I could understand after our visit. The owner was away, but her daughter looked after us really well and was very attentive.

The food was a real highlight, and I've added a few photos. We had a wonderful getaway at Hotel Wieslhof, a beautiful family-run place where the hosts make you feel welcome right away and clearly care about the details. From here we took some fantastic trips around Steinegg, and the nearby Eggental valley is well worth exploring. We'll definitely be back. Thanks for such a lovely break! 🏔️🥾🎒

We were at the Carezza ski resort in just under 20 minutes by car. The hotel itself was clean and welcoming, the hosts were warm, and the food was excellent. We felt very comfortable.
