Everything worked and there was nothing to complain about. It felt a little impersonal, and I think events are the main business. It’s rather remote, so you need a car, and it’s about 18 km from Cremona. Breakfast was extensive, if that’s what you like. Finding the place was difficult because the roads weren’t well signed. Google kept telling me to turn left onto SP23 or something like that, but there was no sign showing which road was SP23, whatever the number was. I’d go back, and there’s great food in the village 2 km away.

I was there on my own for business, coming from the UK, and found that all I could really do was eat, drink, and sleep. The building is beautiful and the rooms were clean. The menu was limited, but the food was great. Three stars.

A lovely setting for an elegant occasion, with a luxurious atmosphere, lovely staff, and wonderful cuisine. This Italian villa is a great place for a wedding or a similarly fancy event.

The rooms were clean, but the restaurant was closed, so I had to go into town for dinner, where nobody spoke English. The description says they speak English, but they don’t. I wouldn’t recommend it.
