Gerber

My friends and I ended up here after our original plans fell through in a particularly troubling, and honestly terrifying, way. The hotel found two rooms for the five of us, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful through the whole situation. We had an amazing breakfast and got to meet and talk with the owner in the mornings. I forgot to write a review at the time, but if I return to Rome, this is the only place I'll stay. It's perfect, and the owners are wonderful.

The room had a handy sink, and the shared bathroom down the hall was modern, clean, and well maintained. My room didn't have its own bathroom, as the listing clearly said, but for the price the hotel went beyond what I expected. The lobby and room were modern, and everything was very clean. The breakfast wait staff were friendly and accommodating. I'd recommend it to a friend.

The double room was comfortable and good, and the hotel is well located near many major attractions, as long as you don't mind walking two or three kilometers. Breakfast wasn't especially good, but it was enough to fill you up. I definitely recommend Hotel Gerber.

The rooms varied in quality. In the double room I stayed in, the bed was cozy, the shower stall was nice, and everything was clean. The single room I tried was different, with a really uncomfortable bed and an odd shower that sent water all over the floor.
