La Locanda della Franciacorta

We booked two rooms for two nights and received QR codes for entry, although the hotel says it offers 24-hour check-in. When we arrived, nobody was there, and the QR codes didn’t help at all. None of the phone numbers in the email or posted on the door were answered. We never stayed, but they still won’t refund us. On the phone, they say they speak only German and Italian, while giving Expedia a completely different account. Stay away from this place at all costs.

My family and I booked two rooms for two days through Expedia, but we couldn’t get inside. The hotel claims to have 24-hour check-in, yet nobody was there when we arrived, and no one came after we called every number we could find. With the kids in tow at night, we had to find another hotel. When we called about a refund, they said they don’t speak English. Stay away from this place at all costs.

The room and hotel were great, but a few basics were missing, like water and a kettle in the room.

Terrible stay. The rooms were dusty, the bathroom completely unhygienic, and the shower had warm water for about 30 seconds before it turned ice cold and lost pressure. The fridge didn’t work, the AC was grimy, and I couldn’t lock the door from inside. The one bright spot was the guy at breakfast, who made the experience better and could sell sand in the desert. Breakfast itself was just croissant and yoghurt, with no butter because it wasn’t coming until the next day.
