Hotel Corona

The owners were humble and incredibly friendly, going out of their way to help us with anything at any time. The staff were just as welcoming, and the extensive breakfast was good quality. Beds were very comfortable, and everything felt clean and relaxing. The lobby, with cozy sofas and chairs, a small bar, and views over Cortina and the mountains, was a lovely place to sit. It's a beautiful family-run hotel close to Cortina centre, decorated with taste. Some rooms have balconies and Alpine style. We found it super cozy and friendly, a memorable stay.

The only thing I missed at breakfast was a little more vegetables, though the fresh fruit was delicious. The breakfast overall was delicious, the rooms were cozy and clean, and the staff were caring and nice. There are lots of free parking spaces, and it's a 13-minute walk to Tofana ski station and six minutes to the city centre. My family and I enjoyed the stay, and if I come back to Cortina, I'd choose this hotel again.

The rooms have a traditional style, while the bathrooms have been remodeled. The location also worked better for me than staying in the city center, especially for heading out to see places west. You can walk to whatever you want in about 10 or 20 minutes. I stayed here in the fall, and wanted to thank Stefano and his family for the service after thinking back on that stay and some more recent hotel experiences while considering another Dolomites trip. This review is late, but nearly everything in more recent travelers' posts matches what I experienced.

The breakfast was a feast, and the people at the front desk and preparing breakfast were so lovely, accommodating, and nice. The hotel feels like an art gallery or museum. My room was small but sufficient, with really comfy, clean bedding and a magnificent balcony view. Soundproofing wasn't great, but the hospitality more than made up for it. The location is close to all the major points, and parking was easy. I had a great stay and would definitely return.
