Art Hotel Navigli

There are restaurants along this beautiful stretch near the Navigli canal, with Risotto, vegan, and halal options. The hotel itself has art to admire in every corner. Whether you're traveling alone or with family, it's lovely. Daniele was our receptionist and treated us so kindly. He was professional, courteous, and helpful, knew the city well, and could help with anything in the hotel or around town. He made our first impression of Milano a great one, and he'd do the same for anyone returning. Fair warning, you won't want to come back from there 🇮🇹🤌❤️. This is hands down the best hotel you can choose in Milano.

The hotel was beautiful and well maintained, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast had a nice range of choices. I had a good three-night stay while on a business trip.

Breakfast was a highlight for me. I liked the selection, and the attentive employees quickly offered hot drinks and cleared empty plates. There's also a small free buffet in the lobby near the bar during the day. Around noon you can get water or juice, coffee or tea, fruit, and coffee biscuits. In the evening there are assorted small snacks. The staff were very friendly and did their best to help with our issues, and we felt welcome. The Spa and gym looked nice in the photos, though we didn't have time to see them. The hotel is within reasonable walking distance of tram, metro, and train stations. The outside made a mixed first impression, since the building looks dated, but the interior is quite modern and has lots of art on display, true to its name. Our two rooms weren't ready on arrival, so they offered to store our luggage. The employee forgot to give me the baggage ticket number, which caused some confusion when I returned to collect it, but it was sorted quickly and I got my things back. My single room was tiny but had everything I expected. The walls have terrible soundproofing. There was a lot of noise around 11 pm to midnight, as if construction was happening next door. I could even hear my neighbors' phone vibrating at night and their alarm in the morning. The premium double room had a shower that didn't work and couldn't be fixed quickly, so they had to move us to another room two days in a row. A mild hassle. My own single room's shower worked flawlessly, with steady temperature and good pressure. I think the broken shower was an exception, not something to expect here. Housekeeping tidied the rooms, changed the bathroom towels, and left a free bottle of water in the mini-fridge every day.

For what you pay, this is the best hotel I've stayed at in a long time. The rooms are nice and properly cleaned, breakfast is very good, and everyone is super friendly and polite. Special thanks to the cocktail maker and bartender who put smiles on everyone's faces. They made me a fabulous frozen margarita to go with the apero buffet served every night!
