The location made it easy to wander to shops and restaurants, and the staff were genuinely kind and helpful. We were here for our elopement in the Dolomites and had such a great stay. Our rooms had recently been renovated. We'd happily come back.

Breakfast was pleasant, with pastries, coffee, cold cuts and eggs, and it started at 7:30am. The room itself was cozy, attractive and recently renovated, and the hotel is close to everything. But we could hear normal conversation through the thin walls, as well as people coming and going on the floor. On Friday or Saturday, the bars below stayed noisy until 3-4am, even from our third-floor room. Parking at the hotel costs EUR15 a day. For the price, I didn't think the value was very good.

The breakfast was just right before a day on the slopes, and the staff were very helpful and nice the whole time. We spent five days skiing in Cortina, and the hotel is right in the centre. The bus for the slopes, about a 6-7 minute ride away, stops only 50 yards from the hotel, beside the main street's shops and restaurants.

Three draft beers took 40 minutes to get served. When we finally decided to leave, the owner came over angrily. I think it was understandable after we'd lost 40 minutes. If they need more waiters, they should hire them. Cheap!

Massimilliano was great with his restaurant suggestions, which were spot on, and he even picked me up from Venice airport. The breakfast was nice, and so were the rooms and staff. We had a lovely stay, and the location is hard to beat.
