The coach station was only a two-minute walk from the hotel, which made arriving in town really convenient. The location was good and everything I needed was a quick walk away. Breakfast was included and the stay was very comfortable. The bell tower in the square rings every hour, though I’m pretty sure it’s quiet overnight. It didn’t bother me, but it’s worth knowing. I’d come again!

We were happy with our choice of Hotel Montana and would gladly stay again if we get the chance. The hotel is fairly affordable and right in the town centre, with friendly staff and a very satisfying breakfast. There are lots of lovely hotels in town, but this worked out just right for our family.

We were glad we picked hotel Montana. The room was clean and spacious, and the location is right in the centre. It’s also relatively affordable compared with other hotels nearby. I’d call it more of a three-star hotel than a two-star one. Breakfast was good, with pastries, fresh fruit, eggs and even honeycomb. The helpful staff also gave us options for short hikes near town. Although it’s close to the clock tower, it doesn’t ring after 8 or 9pm, so it didn’t interrupt our sleep.

We stayed at Hotel Montana for one night before starting our hut-to-hut trek on the Alta via 1. The staff were very accommodating and let us leave our bags while we were hiking. It’s right in the middle of town, with restaurants and shops easy to reach on foot, and public transit and bus stops are very accessible.
