Nord Hotel

Our room on the third floor was beautiful, spacious, cozy, and well maintained, with stunning mountain views. The location was handy for reaching the main treks in the area, a short drive or walk away. There’s no lift in the building, which wasn’t a major issue for us, but it’s worth keeping in mind if you have heavy luggage. Carrying ours up was a small sacrifice, and a good workout too! haha.

The staff were very friendly and helped me with my bike. The room was pretty grim, really small, with paper-thin walls and a very narrow single bed. Traffic noise was a problem too. It’s an expensive area, but this felt like poor value for money.

The view from the room windows was excellent, and it’s still walkable to town from the edge of Cortina, where you don’t get as much traffic as further in. Breakfast was very good, especially the fresh croissants, with enough choices. Parking can get tight, and some spots are right by the road, where it’s hard to see when backing up. There’s a small grocery nearby. A good, solid hotel, though a little dated.

Breakfast had plenty of choices and was really good, including gluten-free and lactose-free options. The staff were great, the room was very clean, and I had a small balcony. At night I had to close the shutters because the curtains were sheer. Some things in the room didn't work quite right. Rooms without a mountain view seem to face the road, which is busy and very loud. In summer, it could be hard to sleep with the window shut when it's hot.
