Orsoline Cortina

We enjoyed our stay in the vacation house run by the Orsoline sisters. There was plenty of nature to take in, including lovely mountain views, and it was nice to wander the hilly area at an easy pace. The price was cheap, the food tasty, and the accommodation good. Hope we can return!

The Sisters and staff made us feel cared for, and I came away feeling spiritually refreshed. Their smiles and thoughtful gestures felt sincere, and the stay was more like being welcomed into a home than a business arrangement. The view is beautiful too, but what makes the Orsoline special is really the people. For the Sisters, hospitality feels like a calling.

Sister Assunta was exceptionally kind and always willing to help, and the food was varied and delicious. The facility is beautiful, with large rooms that were spotless and plenty of parking. The chapel is lovely too, and attending Holy Mass was an experience not to miss.

The rooms were well furnished and had private bathrooms, and the food was excellent. The nuns were very welcoming. It's a spacious, friendly place only a few minutes on foot from the center of Cortina. The one problem was that the heating still wasn't working despite the cold weather.
