We only found this place at the last minute while driving from northern Italy toward Venice, and it turned out to be the best stay of our whole trip. There’s a game room and a pool with beautiful views, and the breakfast spread was AMAZING. The historic hotel was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were so welcoming. They even left us free water and snacks and surprised us by cleaning our cars. We’ll absolutely come back.

The hike nearby through the vineyards, along the river and into the mountains was beautiful, and Cassel is close by. The staff were friendly and helpful with good suggestions, plus there was a welcome drink and fruit waiting as a surprise. There are games in the yard for kids and adults. Our deluxe room, in one of several buildings and room types, had recently been renewed and was very comfortable and perfectly clean. A bin in the main room and a safe would be useful, but with their great attitude I’m sure they’ll keep improving. Breakfast was delicious, and the nearby restaurant was perfect. We’ll surely be back.

Just one night on a work trip, but I slept better than I have in weeks. The beds are big and super comfortable. We loved the hotel’s distinctive style and all the attention to detail. The staff were so helpful and chatty, too. We were very pleased with the stay and would definitely recommend it.

Our suite was modern, clean, and well equipped, and the private parking felt safe. The two guys at reception were especially kind, and the service from the staff was good. Breakfast was generous and delicious. We had a good stay, thank you, and see you soon!

We stopped here on our way south and loved the atmosphere. It’s a charming, rustic little gem, with welcoming staff, a lovely room, a spacious bathroom, and really comfy beds. Everything was neat and clean. Breakfast had all sorts of things to choose from, including plenty of home-baked treats. The strudle was a killer 😊. We’ll definitely come back, and highly recommend it.
