The cleaning staff do great work, and the rooms are beautiful. The staff are lovely, and breakfast and coffee are great. It’s about 10 minutes out of town, nestled in the mountains, and still very walkable to bus stops and shops. So amazing to stay at!

The views from the hotel are amazing in every direction, and it seems like it’d be a great place to stay in summer too, with so many interesting walks. We’ve just come back from a fantastic stay at Sport Hotel Barisetti. The location, room, friendliness of all the staff, cleanliness throughout, food quality, and wine selection were all top quality. Loved it.

The staff and waiters were friendly and direct, real Italians in a good way. If we visit Cortina again, we’ll definitely stay here. It’s on the edge of town, about a 10-minute walk from the downtown pedestrian street. Breakfast was a hearty cold spread with scrambled eggs. Half-board dinner has to be ordered ahead, choosing from starters, mains, and desserts, or from a set pasta menu.

We felt so well looked after and would love to return. Alice greeted us when we arrived and walked us to our room, explaining everything and offering to help with any questions. Her reputation preceded her, and she was great with directions into town, restaurant suggestions, and travel tips, always with a smile. Herbert, the owner, saved us by sorting out a taxi snafu. Nicola and Fabio were kind too, as was our waiter at the generous breakfast. We spent two nights at this lovely, well-located hotel in Cortina D’Ampezzo.

The hotel has a wonderful mountain feel, and its location gives quick access to trail heads and downtown. We loved our time at Sport Hotel in Cortina and will absolutely come back. The staff were incredibly kind. Alice at reception was so friendly and makes a delicious Aperol Spritz, and the breakfast and dinner staff were always pleasant.
