Agriturismo Villa Augusto

I've stayed at Villa Augusto twice so far, and it's a very special place for me. Augusto and Lia are wonderful hosts. The rooms are spacious and quiet, and the property itself is amazing. I loved sitting by the pool listening to birds in the trees, and seeing fireflies in the evening. Tuscany is wonderful, and I definitely recommend it.

The owners are kind and funny, and whenever we asked, they were happy to suggest things to do. They were born there and clearly care about the place, right down to every detail and every stone. We also loved hearing its history and seeing their little museum. We spent five amazing days at Villa Augusto. The rooms are carefully decorated, and the old furniture has been kept in such good condition. I totally recommend it, and we’ll definitely return.

The sunset by the pool was especially lovely during my four nights at Villa Augusto. Everything was great, and Augusto and Lia were friendly and gave me tips on nearby places to visit. I enjoy walking and taking in the scenery, so I recommend the walk from the villa to Cortona, which takes about 45 minutes. I’ll definitely come back.

The tennis and pool were great, and we even saw fireflies at night. In the mornings, birdsong woke us up while we took in the natural surroundings. The accommodation felt like living in a palace or museum, with paintings all over the walls, many of them very expensive, and furniture that suits the age of the building. Augusto and his wife were so friendly and gave us plenty of useful advice about places to visit nearby. By the end, saying goodbye to Augusto and Lia was hard because they had become close friends. What better place to discover Toscana? Our stay made the trip much better than we’d expected. It was an incredible journey, mainly thanks to Augusto's stay.
