Paola was wonderful, responsive to our emails, and very helpful with her advice and suggestions. The accommodations were very good, the restaurant outstanding, and the location perfect. We had a memorable stay and have already planned to return in May with our son and his family on our next trip to Italy. Rick Steves recommends this place, and he’s spot on as usual. You won’t find better value for the money than B & B Dolce Maria.

We loved the food and atmosphere at Al Pozzo Antico. Everything we tried was delicious, from the house-made pasta to the desserts, and you can tell it’s all prepared with care. We visited Cortona in July, when the weather was beautiful, and ate outside beside the ancient well the restaurant is named after. Most of the other diners were locals, speaking Italian around us, which we enjoyed. We loved the whole experience and met the owners, Paola and Franco. Highly recommend it!

Locanda al Pozzo Antico is one of my favorite places, and I bring friends and family there several times a year. Paola makes us feel like we're part of her warm family, and the food is wonderful. If you're looking for a great place to stay, I highly recommend her B&B.

Taking Paola's Tuscan Cooking Class was a highlight of our two weeks touring Italy. We got to make her homemade recipes ourselves, after enjoying how amazing they tasted at the restaurant. Unbelievable, and an experience we'll remember.

This is our go-to restaurant in Cortona so far. The staff are enthusiastic and provide fantastic service, and there are lots of local specialties alongside the best Tuscan dishes. Such a welcoming atmosphere!
