I Girasoli di Berto

We spent four weeks here, and Patricia and Stefano did so much to make the stay memorable. The Fattoria is close to Cortona, and many of the region's countryside and cultural sights are easy to reach on day trips. The apartment and grounds were clean and well maintained. The pool area was a favorite, with comfortable loungers and a relaxing spot to enjoy the sun. The bedrooms and living room had air conditioning, the showers and water supply worked well, and Wi-Fi was available throughout. Be sure to ask Stefano about his homemade Tuscan cold cuts. The basil growing by the carport smelled incredibly rich and tasted just as good.

Cortona's historic center is nearby, with a supermarket and several restaurants close too. The three apartment complex is peaceful, with a nice garden and a good swimming pool. Stefano, Patrizia, and Michael were all friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed how peaceful this small agriturismo was, with just three apartments. The apartment had a typical Italian feel and came with everything we needed, including air conditioning throughout, a washer, and a dishwasher. There is a large, lovely pool in the garden with comfortable loungers. Cortona is about 5 km away for a quiet meal, and the hosts were always friendly and ready to help. Highly recommended.

We came as a group of 11 friends and rented the whole property for a week. Having all three apartments to ourselves gave us privacy and the freedom to enjoy the farm and shared spaces. If booking only one apartment, I imagine the verandas, lawn, pool, laundry room, and oven are shared. There are two big verandas, a very well kept lawn that seems to go on forever, and a pool area with loungers and umbrellas. We used the oven in the outdoor room for grilling several times, and there is also a laundry room. The owners were very kind and helpful, which made for a fantastic stay. Each apartment sleeps four and has sheets, towels for bathing and the pool, a hairdryer, and air conditioning. I'd happily stay again and recommend it.
