Casa Elena

Casa Elena is set in the peaceful Tuscan countryside, a lovely place to spend a few relaxing days. Celso and his family were exceptionally hospitable throughout our stay, and the property suits all kinds of guests. It's also close to lots of places worth seeing: Cortona, with its charming streets inside the city walls, Siena, Castiglion Fiorentino and many other lovely villages. A heartfelt thanks to the Casa Elena staff for making us feel so welcome.

A quiet spot surrounded by greenery, and well placed for visiting nearby cities. We spent three wonderful days at Elena's house and were welcomed so warmly by the owners, who are lovely, kind people. The apartment was clean and tidy, furnished in Tuscan style right down to the smallest detail. On arrival there was a delicious homemade cake, coffee and milk, a bottle of wine and their own olive oil. I highly recommend it and hope to return soon.

Hard to put it into words, you really have to experience it. I'm not usually one to return to the same place, but I've already booked for next year. The people we met were extraordinary. A recommendation doesn't do it justice. Just go!

What a wonderful experience! My family and I stayed at Casa Elena in early spring over the Easter holiday. The family of Mr. Celso, who own the place, welcomed us so warmly. The guesthouse has been there for 25 years, in a beautiful, peaceful part of the Tuscan countryside, very close to the medieval town of Cortona, which is a must-see. Watching the sunset from the balcony will stay among our best memories. It's a special place with very special people. We hope to return one day!
