Everything was just right: a quiet setting, an easy-to-find parking spot nearby, and a very kind host.

The apartment has a spectacular view and sits right in central Cortona. Every room has its own bathroom, and there’s great attention to detail. I can’t give it more stars, but I’ll definitely be back.

There’s no private parking, but the rooms are very nice and fully equipped. The central location makes it an ideal base for a stay in Cortona.

The listing on AirBnB says you can book for just one night, but when we called the owners, they said the minimum stay was three nights.

The pool hours are really bad: it’s open from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, then again from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
