We stayed in an apartment for three weeks, from late June to mid-July. Augusta and Martino were welcoming, friendly, and responsive, and the whole place was clean and well looked after. The location suited us perfectly: it’s a quiet, convenient five-minute walk to Corvara centre for groceries, the bus, and the lifts. Highly recommended!

I didn’t stay at Ciasa Confolia. I’d booked in spring 2019 for February 2020, then in January, before the COVID alarm began, I was asked to travel to the US for work. I let the owner know right away. Since we love Corvara, I didn’t ask for a refund, just to move the booking to February or April 2021. The owner said she would keep all the money, a third of the total as stated in the contract, and that she wasn’t insured, so that was that. I’m sure she rebooked the flat. I was disappointed that she offered nothing, not even a small discount on a possible future stay. Oh well.

The booking experience was extremely disappointing. They confirmed availability by email and sent written confirmation, then cancelled my reservation without telling me because they had received a request through Booking.com. That felt profoundly unfair and unscrupulous, especially for people who plan their stay weeks ahead.

Mrs. Augusta was truly kind and helpful, and I’d happily stay here again. We had a very pleasant stay in the Stera room, a mini-studio apartment with a lovely balcony and wonderful mountain views. The kitchenette was very nice and had everything we needed. The property was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, about a five-minute walk from the centre of Corvara, with the ski bus stop just over 50 metres away. I definitely recommend it!
