Roberto, his wife and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and looked after. When our car had a problem, Roberto connected us with a local mechanic. He also suggested beautiful hikes away from the crowds, so we could enjoy the Dolomites' scenery. We've stayed in lots of hotels and inns around Europe, and Garni La Vera in Corvara is one of our favorite experiences. The rooms were comfortable and good value, and breakfast was fresh and satisfying every morning. Corvara feels more relaxed and authentic than some of the region's larger towns, and makes a convenient base for trailheads and scenic drives. We truly enjoyed our stay and will absolutely return.

Roberto was such a welcoming, helpful and attentive host, and we'd definitely recommend Garni La Vara. We stayed four nights, and the hotel was right in central Corvara, opposite a bakery. The rooms were simple as expected, but clean and made good use of the space. We could store our bikes safely in the hotel garage. There were lots of tasty breakfast choices, especially the homemade yoghurt and cakes, which we took along on walks and rides.

For a family-run hotel in Corvara, this is excellent value. The host is incredible, and breakfast is a real treat: homemade yoghurt and baked goods, local meats and cheeses, eggs made to order and delicious coffee. I highly recommend it and hope to stay again.

Roberto made us feel at ease and helped us enjoy the stay to the fullest. He's an incredibly welcoming and helpful host. Add the incredible views and delicious breakfast, and this is a great place. Roberto is the man!

Roberto was so nice and helpful, and we had a great stay. The apartment was very clean. If you like being outdoors, the location is great, with so many beautiful hiking trails. It's also paradise for motorcyclists, with several mountain passes. If we're back in this region, we'll definitely return to Garni La Vara. I've added a few more photos of places we visited during the stay.
