The bedroom felt dated, but everything worked. The staff were hardworking and gave excellent service. We also ate very well, and there was a good wine selection.

The rooms are a little dated, though immaculate, and I understand the first floor has been refurbished with more work underway. The sauna and spa were nice, but quite loud and switched off too quickly. The hotel is very friendly and only 300 metres from the lifts. Food was excellent, from the cooked and continental breakfast to the five-course evening meal with choices. I’m going back and highly recommend it.

For an older place, the retro charm really worked for us. There’s a small spa with a whirlpool and sauna, and breakfast had everything we needed and was very good. The service team at this family owned hotel were friendly and helpful. Very good value for money.

We loved our stay at La Plaza and I’d come back. The staff stayed the same all week, which gave the place a lovely family feel, and everyone was cheerful, polite and helpful. Meals were generous and tasty, with lots of choice at breakfast. The hot tub and sauna were clean and welcome, and there’s a secure boot room. It took us about eight minutes to walk to the lift, which was just about okay. Thank you, La Plaza. I had a great holiday. Sam

The lift takes a bit of a walk in the morning, though you can ski back to the hotel, and the ski bus stop is only 50m away. We had a wonderful week of skiing here. It’s centrally located, with a cosy bar, good food and lovely service at this friendly family run hotel.
