Such a lovely villa.

The pizzeria was only 200 meters away, and since they don’t take reservations, we called to check if there was space. They said it was full, but we went anyway and found free seats and a table. Maybe they didn’t want us to arrive near closing time, but that wasn’t explained. At 10:27 pm, we asked for coffee and were told it wasn’t possible because they were closing in three minutes. We asked for a Swiss pine and got the same answer. It was only 10:30 pm on a Saturday in August. I’ve never experienced such rudeness and unprofessional service. The girl cleaning the coffee machine was laughing mockingly. If you’re closing, it’s your duty to tell us, and to provide service until closing. When the final bill was wrong, though, someone quickly came after us at the door over a few euros. There are better places around. The owner should review how the staff treat customers. If they can’t serve coffee after a meal, they should at least warn people about the closing time, as places do everywhere.

The owners are incredibly kind and helpful, and the apartment was kept meticulously, with lots of comforts and a very high standard of cleanliness. There’s private parking too. If you don’t want to cook, you can head downstairs to Bar Pizzeria for a delicious breakfast or fantastic pizza. The desserts are lovely as well. Highly recommended.
