Hotel La Tambra

At Restaurant Trattoria Con Griglia, the beef cheek and carbonara were amazing ❤️. The waitress was so warm and friendly :)

The check-in was a hassle, and parking made it hard to come and go at night. We had to buzz or call several times to get into the building while it was raining, and there were no clear directions about where to park. The person who checked us in didn’t speak much English, which was fine, but we had to wait until the next day to ask questions and get our orientation. The steakhouse shares a lot with the apartments, and it doesn’t really work for both restaurant and apartment guests, so when we returned at night there sometimes wasn’t a space for our rental. The apartment itself was great for three people, cosy, and having two bathrooms was nice. Breakfast was great too, as was the woman who ran it.

The beds were really nice, and breakfast and Wi-Fi were included. The staff were lovely and breakfast was lovely too. In the room, a few lightbulbs were missing and there was writing on the walls from previous guests. It’s also a bit of a distance from the ski slopes and mountains. I’d still definitely come back and recommend it to others.

Breakfast could start earlier, so getting to the slopes for opening doesn’t feel so rushed. The hotel is comfortable, good value and serves fantastic food. Staff are friendly, and the slopes are easy to reach on foot or by bus.
