Residence Belavista

The place was overpriced for what we got. Our rooms were dirty and full of spiders. We paid 100€ for cleaning, which felt appalling for a 7-day stay when nobody cleaned the room during that time. When we asked for a quote, they first added 15€ per day for a newborn. We said we didn't need a cot, and then they charged that same 15€ per day to the adults instead. Never again.

The lower-than-average price didn't make up for the problems. The fridge smelled as if something had died in it, and the Wi-Fi was very weak, averaging about 100kb/s. That was enough for email, but not much else. They didn't clear the driveway regularly, so it got icy and was impossible to drive on. For two days we couldn't even walk down it, and had to climb over the ski track to reach the apartment. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you don't care where you stay.

The outdoor balcony and its breathtaking view were stunning. We visited in August 2024, a family of four with a small dog, and found the apartment comfortable and clean. The kitchen has just two burners, but with a little patience we managed fine. It's vacation, after all, not the rush of everyday life. The town center is a 7-8 minute walk, though the final 100 meters are quite steep. Without a car, that could be inconvenient with a stroller or for elderly people with mobility issues. There's free parking right by the residence's front door, though. The lady who runs the property was genuinely friendly and helpful with anything we needed. For the location, the quality for the price is good. We had a great time and recommend it without hesitation.

The apartment was spotless, and the owner was very kind about accommodating our requests. Still, we got very little information about the house at check-in. We didn't even know the access code, and never found out where the sauna was. The location near Col Alto gives you an excellent view, but getting home means a steep climb. Carrying groceries or pushing a stroller up there is hard. Inside, the kitchen's two tiny burners made it difficult to handle meals on our own. What brought my rating down most was the rigid check-in at 4 pm and check-out at 9 am. Those times take a day of vacation away, and can't be negotiated. We were traveling with a small child and asked for more flexibility. We got just one extra hour at checkout, with no early check-in. The cleaning service also seemed too slow or unsuitable for a tourist property. I'm not sure we'll return, since Corvara has plenty of other options. Too bad.
