We only stayed one night, but it was a lovely visit. The room Marina gave us was a beautiful little apartment, all wood, with a kitchenette and distinctive decorations. The owner was kind and always available. We slept well, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom had everything we needed. The location is handy for exploring the valley, and I’d recommend it as a base for seeing Valtellina.

The location is good and the owner was kind, but the property is badly neglected. There was dust, cobwebs, and spiders in the rooms. The furnishings felt far too “vintage” to me, meaning old, dirty, and shabby, and the linens weren’t quite clean or fresh-smelling. Breakfast was barely adequate. I couldn’t wait to leave. AVOID!

Mrs. Marina is wonderful, so sweet, kind, and helpful. She also has delicious desserts that are practically impossible to turn down. The rooms are rustic but welcoming, very comfortable, and extremely clean, with everything you need, even for cooking. I stayed just a couple of days and had a great time. The prices felt more than fair for the quality of service. I was very satisfied and promised to come back for longer.
