We only got to stay a short time, which was a shame because the place was so lovely. Everything, from the room to the rest of the property, was clean and neat. Mrs. Rosy and Massimo made us feel so welcome, and we’re grateful for their generous hospitality. Breakfast was huge, with amazing homemade pastries. We’ll come back in summer and stay longer. The woodland walks nearby are beautiful, and it’s easy to get to the lake while staying away from the city bustle. Verbania is only about 10 minutes away. The owners were so warm and helpful, and after just one night and a hearty Italian breakfast, we were already planning a longer return. A lovely B&B for a mountain break near the Swiss border, whether for a weekend or a whole week. I’d definitely recommend it.

The village is peaceful and clean, with fresh air all around. We were won over by Rosy and Max, whose thoughtful, kind attention made the stay really pleasant. Breakfast at "Chez Rosy" was unforgettable. Thank you, Rosy ⭐️ We’d originally set out to see Lake Maggiore and booked this B&B at Castello di Cossogno almost by chance. It’s in a village of about 700 people in the province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola in Piedmont, around a 15-20 minute drive from the lake. The place gave me an uneasy first impression because I’d pictured something different, but the welcome changed that.

The apartment came with a bathroom and a small terrace, and Massimo and Rosy helped us have a lovely evening at the village restaurant. They put a lot of effort into making guests comfortable and were incredibly welcoming. Breakfast was the usual Italian sweet start to the day. The apartment felt overpriced, even in high season.

It felt like staying with family. The hosts were so friendly and warm, and breakfast was both generous and excellent. We spent 9 nights at this B&B in a very quiet village, about 15 minutes from Verbania on Lake Maggiore. We’d happily return if we get the chance. Thanks so much ❤️
