Hotel Galvani

The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout. Breakfast was simple but delicious, with plenty of fresh fruit and baked goods. We had a beautiful, spacious room with a large terrace, where waking up to the gorgeous outlook and sounds of the lake was a treat. The views are incredible!

Federico and even the owner welcomed us with warm smiles and genuine hospitality from the moment we arrived at Hotel Galvani. We felt less like guests and more like friends who were truly cared for. The location near the shores of Lago di Garda is breathtaking, and the service felt heartfelt. Grazie mille, Hotel Galvani & Federico, you’ve set the gold standard for hospitality! 🌅❤️

The beaches along the lower part of the lake aren’t much, and I found the upper end more beautiful. Hotel Capri also seemed better value. Still, I was glad to get a clean, modern room with a lake view and a large, well-equipped bathroom, though the price felt a little high. I had to leave early to catch my departure, but they brought me coffee and a croissant when I asked. I didn’t use the other facilities, though there’s an active outdoor pool, a bar and a restaurant.

We’ve been back to this lovely place four times, and on our latest 13-day visit we had dinner in the restaurant every night. The food is fantastic, the views are spectacular, and the rooms are spacious and lovely. The town is close and easy to get to, and the prices are very fair. The staff are incredibly kind and accommodating.
