The room was cramped, with furniture making it hard to move around, and it felt almost like a ground-floor room. Breakfast meant going upstairs to the owners' kitchen. We found the room cold and had asked for the heating to be left on because of the low temperatures, but it wasn't, and we couldn't sleep. I caught a cold and our vacation was spoiled. We were so eager to leave that we skipped breakfast. She also refused to give us an invoice, which seemed highly suspicious. We paid only to avoid causing any more disruption to our vacation, though we should have called the Carabinieri or the Guardia di Finanza. This isn't a B&B, farmhouse, or hotel. Booking.com should check properties carefully before listing them. People shouldn't be allowed to defraud others so shamelessly. I wanted to thank the owner for freezing us to death.

Right in the center of Asciano, the hotel has reserved parking in front. The building used to be a garage, but it's now furnished well and has all the necessary comforts. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the price was affordable.

For what it costs, I have no complaints. A pleasant place, and Clara was friendly and very efficient.

The owners were friendly, and the place was clean, quiet, and very good.
