LBH Hotel Vespasiano

A few minutes on foot from Vatican City, right in central Rome, and the location is hard to beat. Our room was clean and cosy, breakfast was very good for the price, and the staff were kind and accommodating. Fantastic place, I'd recommend it to anyone.

We were so comfortable here, and the air conditioning could stay on while we were out, so the room was cool when we got back from the heat. The shower's mood lighting was a lovely touch. The rooms were clean and nice, and we each had one. There was a little fridge and a TV that plays from a pen drive, plus lots of little places to eat and two mini supermarkets nearby. The Vatican Museum entrance is just steps away, and the metro is around the corner, though we didn't use it. The two female staff members were especially friendly and eager to help. We didn't get to toss a coin in the Trevi Fountain this time, but if we come back, we'd stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful, relaxing stay.

We had plenty of room on the top floor, and it was wonderfully quiet and peaceful despite being in the middle of the city. There's a door shared with an apartment. Food and gelato are easy to find nearby, and the subway is close too. The hotel is also within walking distance of the Sit bus, which can take you between the cruise port, downtown Rome, and the airport without a taxi or subway. The room had a nice hot water pot, tea, and a fridge.

The first day was a bit rough, to be honest. The hotel was being remodeled, so we got drywall dust on us, and one customer in our group had a room problem. By the next morning everything had been sorted out. The staff were absolutely awesome, and the location is wonderful. I'm a guide and travel agent, so I won't pretend otherwise.
