That view of the lake and castle from the upper-floor rooms is hard to beat, and the garden and whole property feel upscale. The room itself is quite basic, though. The linens and towels were five-star quality, and it was spotless. There’s no tea or coffee in the room, but breakfast is available in season. The metal bedside tables, lamps and wardrobe look a bit dated, and there are about 130 light switches on the walls. The heating worked well, even though its controls were hard to read. Parking is easy enough with a small or medium car, but larger SUVs like an X7 or GLS, and vans, may struggle. The garage has plenty of space, but turning around is tight. There’s a charger on site for electric cars. The off-season front desk guy spoke fluent English and was extremely helpful and friendly. Five stars for him.

The staff made our visit so easy. Everyone was kind and ready to help with anything we needed. We thought the price was excellent value, and we’re already keen to come back. The setting is peaceful, with lovely views from all around the property, especially our room and the breakfast area. Breakfast was reasonably priced and had a good range of tasty choices. The outdoor seating is covered, with a heat lamp for cold mornings. We also appreciated the fitness area and free laundry. Parking was tight, but manageable, and worth the drive up the hill for those views.

The staff really stood out. They were among the most helpful we’ve encountered, even offering to book dinner for guests. They also put on breakfast every morning, just remember to tell them ahead so they can plan. Residence Ca 'del Lago has panoramic views, a mountainside setting, free parking and free bike rental. It has so many thoughtful touches that it stands apart. We’ll be staying here again on our next trip to Torri. Thank you!

Our terrace room looked out over Lake Garda and had amazing views. The apartments were just as pictured, and the hotel is lovely inside and out. Reception was friendly, and the staff member we met spoke good English. You can use the sauna or fitness room on request, and bikes are free to hire. Just be aware that the higher rooms don’t have step-free access. I’d definitely stay here again.

Nothing to fault. Parking is fine as long as you don’t arrive in a huge car.
