B&B Il Melograno Taranto

I stayed in the "Suite La Terrazza," with a large private bathroom and a small kitchenette. It was well stocked with croissants and the things needed to cook, and it also opened onto a sunny terrace. The rooms look just like the photos and are breathtaking. It's in central Taranto, about a half-hour walk from the train station. The owner was friendly and available whenever I had a question or needed clarification.

The room where we kept our suitcases faced a busy street, and it was noisy even at night. We chose this central Taranto B&B because reviews called it quiet, but that wasn't our experience. The sheets were visibly stained, and we were itchy all night; cleanliness wasn't up to par. Roberto was kind and helpful, though. We didn't meet him in person, but he lived up to expectations and addressed the problems we encountered.

The terrace is a lovely finishing touch, just right for a cool summer evening. There is also a small, fully equipped kitchenette and a mini-fridge stocked with fruit juices for guests. The rooms are fresh, comfortable, and spotless. The whole B&B reflects the owner's creative touch, and they welcome you with kindness and helpfulness. Il Melograno feels like a doorway into a calm, hospitable world, right in the heart of Taranto.

Rooms are clean, and the host is welcoming. The property sits right in central Taranto, with good parking nearby, and makes a great base if you like exploring the city on foot.
