Having parking right outside the door was really handy, and it didn’t cost extra. The suite is close to both the old and new town, which worked well for visiting Tarent, though driving out each day meant dealing with traffic jams. Carmen, our contact, was supportive and very helpful throughout. The suite was clean and ready when we arrived. It’s nicely furnished with a king-size bed, kitchenette and dining table, plus a living area with sofa and TV. There’s also a washing machine and microwave, which we didn’t use, and the Wi-Fi was stable and fast. The one drawback was the water heating system switching on every hour, including overnight. We didn’t check or ask whether it could be adjusted. We had a pleasant stay overall and can recommend Suite Al Ponte.

I’ve stayed in this lovely, quiet apartment a couple of times. It’s right in central Taranto, and the cleanliness is impeccable. The kitchen is small but has what you need to cook, especially to make a good breakfast. The owner was kind and provided phone support, so we could handle both check-in and check-out on our own.

Carmen was a wonderful host, and my boyfriend and I are very grateful for her hospitality. The room was quaint, with a stone ceiling and a comfortable bed, and it was quiet. It’s right in the city center, close to the seafront and the restaurants and bars. The parking arrangement with the property was convenient too, so we could leave the car without any trouble. Highly recommended 😊

Carmen was very helpful, and the property had all the comforts we needed. We stayed for a weekend and found the location convenient, with parking on site. We’ll definitely come back.

The café overlooking the canal served an excellent breakfast, and the apartment also came with housekeeping, linen changes at suitable intervals, and a genuinely useful parking space. It’s tastefully furnished and has everything you need, right in the heart of Taranto, steps from the archaeological museum, the Aragonese Castle, Ponte Girevole, and more. The owners were very kind and even left Christmas decorations. Kudos to everyone! It’s a shame that people visiting the café by the building’s main entrance leave bottles and other rubbish lying around. That’s down to their poor manners, not the suite’s owners.
