Residence La Corte Danese

The apartment itself was fantastic, and I’d consider staying again, though the service left some room for improvement. Reception closes between 12 and 3pm, and again at 8pm, despite the brochure and our introduction saying it stayed open until 10pm. When we needed help after hours, staff weren’t particularly helpful. Tissues weren’t replenished daily, and changing the bedding costs extra, though it wasn’t too expensive. Our group of five women had an amazing apartment, less than a 10-minute walk from town, with restaurants, supermarkets and shops close by. From Room 21, we could enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. There’s also a swimming spot by the lake, with a beach bar right beside it. Getting around can take planning, as the local bus times aren’t very reliable and taxis can be quite pricey. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests.

We loved long swims in the baby pool with our little one, then romantic dinners on the spacious terrace. The apartment had everything we needed, including kitchen tools, a microwave, AC, a big fridge and freezer, a modern stove, plenty of towels and cupboards, and sun beds on the terrace. The lake and pool garden views are stunning. Every shared area was clean and cared for daily, and the service stayed impeccable even when it was busy and hot. There’s a large parking area and a laundromat in the building, which made the holiday easier than we expected. La Corte Danese is great for a family holiday at Garda Lake. It’s close to the bus stop, and a five-minute walk takes you to the lake shore, where there’s a beach bar that rents sun umbrellas. The town is 10 minutes away on foot, as are supermarkets, a butcher, bakery, restaurants and bars. The staff are warm, friendly, responsive and accommodating. Booking was smooth and felt safe, and I felt in good hands from the start. Seeing the place in person was a happy surprise. We’d love to come back each year with family. It’s a lovely place for time with children and friends. Well done Jonilda & staff, and thanks for the warm hospitality!

We had a really spacious apartment for our family, with a balcony and an amazing view. The pool was fun and clean, and the lake and village are just a few minutes away on foot. It’s a beautiful residence in Torre del Benaco, with plenty of parking and really friendly staff.

The pool, laundry and attendant were available much of the time. The apartment complex overlooks Garda and feels relatively new and well built. Basement parking is provided, although some bays are a bit tight. Getting in means pulling onto a steep slope, and the exit joins a blind bend. Thankfully the road is small and quiet, so you can listen out for traffic.
