We travel often, about every three months, and this has been one of the best hotels we've stayed at in the last five years. The pool was perfect, with depths from 150 cm to 220 cm, and both breakfast and dinner were amazing. The kitchen was excellent too. Everything was very clean, and the hotel had everything we needed. The staff were smiling, helpful and respectful all day. Thank you for so many great memories. We'll be back, we love you, Hotel Romeo.

The staff were really kind, and we ate very well. We spent a lovely week here, with options to walk into the city center or head up the mountain, swim in the pool, or go for a swim in the lake. I hope we can return someday.

Our car had been blocked in by another guest who parked where there wasn't a parking space, shortly after we arrived. The manager yelled at us in Italian for interrupting him while he sat at the desk scrolling on his phone, instead of helping. Eventually, other guests joined in and found the driver, so we could get on with our holiday plans. A nightmare experience. Never again, avoid this place.

The location is amazing, and the outdoor area is cosy. The pool area is lovely and relaxing too, but I can't recommend Hotel Romeo otherwise. Our room was on the fourth floor with no elevator, and the old, soft mattresses left everyone waking up with backaches. The terrace was very dirty and there was trash in the cupboard. When I asked reception for another room, they just shook their heads and turned away without asking why. I raised it again the next day, and they sent a cleaning lady who was very angry with me.

The location is the one good thing about this hotel. The rooms look ugly, the food is terrible and the Wi-Fi doesn't work at all. And so on. Can't recommend it.
