B&B Dosso Quarel

We booked a family break at the last minute, and Ms. Stefania's B&B turned out to be a lovely find. It was well placed for the two stops we had planned, and she was easy to talk to, polite, and warm. The apartment felt truly clean, not just sprayed with fragrance. My son walked in and said, “It's really beautiful!” Comfortable mattresses, a mini-fridge, and air conditioning/heating in both rooms made it an easy stay. We woke up to fresh croissants, and the cake she made for breakfast the day before was a lovely treat. She serves breakfast, and there’s also a pizzeria and two trattorias just a few steps away. What a nice discovery!

The location works well for both Lake Garda and Monte Baldo, and Affi’s motorway exit on the Brennero-Modena highway is only 12 kilometers away. Parking is handy, with spaces in the first and second squares. For anyone worried about security, the cameras at the entrance to Via degli Alpini seem like a good deterrent to potential criminals. Stefania and her daughter Serena were attentive, and the room was clean. I appreciated the service and how available they were. I’d worried at first about dogs barking as people passed along the pedestrian path, but they’re brought inside the apartments at night, so it becomes incredibly quiet.

The lake is about a 15-minute drive away, and there’s ample free parking nearby. Stefania welcomed us into her apartment with great kindness. It’s in a peaceful residential area surrounded by nature, among a quiet group of houses. Our room had a comfortable bed, air conditioning, and colorful furnishings. The bathroom was very large and clean, and outside there was a garden to relax in, plus a terrace with two chairs and a small table. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, both sweet and savory, including a homemade vegan cake. We’ll definitely come back.

Stefania was thoughtful about our travel plans, messaging a few hours before our stay with details that helped me organize our arrival. She also responded well to our needs, as we were traveling with a 7-month-old baby. We stayed one night, and the room was tidy, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed, including towels, soap, and a hairdryer. We were lucky to meet Stefania, the owner, at breakfast. It was a lovely encounter, and breakfast was delicious, with sweet and savory choices.
